The Scaly Breasted Lorikeet is a vibrant and energetic parrot admired for its bright green plumage and distinctive scalloped “scaly” pattern across the chest. Native to Australia, this small yet lively species is highly social, playful, and thrives on daily interaction and enrichment. Like all lorikeets, Scaly Breasted Lorikeets require a specialized nectar-based diet and attentive care. Their outgoing personality and colorful appearance make them a wonderful companion for experienced or well-prepared bird owners.
